I grew up in Charlestown and now live in Sellersburg. I attended IU and IUS and earned my Bachelor’s and Master's Degree, along with my Administration License. My husband, Ross, and I have 2 children. After teaching Junior High Math at St. Anthony School for 18 years, I moved into the Principal position. My story began in the western Kentucky area. I graduated from Murray State University where I immediately followed a beautiful girl named Ellen to Louisville, KY. Along the way we were married, had 3 amazing daughters, I went through RCIA, and have had lots of fun with family and friends. We still live in Louisville but transferred our little family over to the village of St. Anthony of Padua School and Parish in 2015.

Originally from Cleveland, OH, my wife Debbie and I lived in Fort Wayne, IN for 19 years (where we raised our two sons), before relocating to Sellersburg in 2007. Retiring after 28 years with my former employer, I was very excited to be given the opportunity to join the St. Anthony Church staff and serve our parish. After decades of gentle prodding from my wife and sons, I “officially” became Catholic several years ago through the St. Anthony RCIA program. Having joined the Catholic faith as an adult, I have a sincere appreciation for the history and traditions of our religion. In my spare time, I enjoy learning more about our faith, reading historical non-fiction, and taking historical vacations.

I am a lifelong Catholic and a native of Floyds Knobs, now living in Greenville, IN. I am semi-retired from the Graphic Design/Marketing Industry and am also an Oil Painting Artist specializing in pet portraits. I feel strongly that my mission is to help further the Catholic religion's reach using my god given design/marketing talent. I am very happy to be a part of this parish and look forward to serving you.

I have served St. Anthony Parish for several years now, conducting the adult choir for 11:00 AM, Sunday Mass and playing for Saturday 5:00 PM Mass and Sunday 8:00 AM Mass. I am also the Chair of the Music Department at
Bellarmine University.
