St. Vincent de Paul Society

The St. Vincent de Paul Society is a group of individuals who work on a voluntary basis, serving the spiritual and material needs of the needy. The St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Anthony Parish serves individuals in need in Clark County, Indiana. 

Among their many activities are the distribution of food, clothing, and other items. They are always looking for volunteers to help organize and distribute food from the pantry located in the basement of the Parish Office. Please call the office and ask for Mark George at 812-282-2290.

Open Food Pantry is the SECOND and LAST Tuesday of every month from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm.
 
The Food Pantry is also available by appointment:
Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.
Friday from 9:00 am to 11:30 am.

Intake Procedures for the Food Pantry:
• Photo ID
• Proof of Residency (i.e. copy of recent bill that shows address)
• Most recent Utility Bill (i.e. landline phone, gas, water, electric)

The organization is funded by the generosity of St. Anthony Parishioners. In addition, funding is received from an annual Walk for the Poor every November. St. Anthony parishioners are encouraged to walk or sponsor a walker.

Regular monthly meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm in the Parish Office.
