I grew up as a member of St. Mary Navilleton Church and went to grade school at St. John Starlight. My parents were both from large families so I have lots of relatives in the area. I professed vows in 1975, and was ordained in 1979, right here at St. Anthony Church because Navilleton Church was too small. I ministered full time in three other parishes, lived at Mt. St. Francis for several years, and worked with the Spanish speaking communities in this deanery and in Louisville. For the past 16 years I have been the director of the Holy Cross Retreat Center in southern New Mexico. Music, gardening, and hiking are some of my interests. I look forward to being with the people of St. Anthony Parish when I begin the first of July!

I am honored and excited to serve as the Principal of St. Anthony of Padua School. Catholic education has been the foundation of my professional life, and I am grateful for the opportunity to join this wonderful faith-filled community. I am a graduate of Bellarmine University, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Special Education 2013, a Master’s degree in Teacher Leadership in 2016, an Educational Specialist degree in School Administration and Instructional Leadership in 2020. I spent 17 years at Saint Agnes School, serving as an Assistant Principal from 2021–2023 and Principal from 2023–2026. I live in Jeffersonville and enjoy spending time with my two nieces, Tilly and Margot. I also share my home with my cat, Baxter, who keeps life entertaining. I look forward to partnering with the students, families, faculty, staff, and parish community of
St. Anthony of Padua as we continue to nurture faith, learning, and service together.

My story began in the western Kentucky area. I graduated from Murray State University where I immediately followed a beautiful girl named Ellen to Louisville, KY. Along the way we were married, had 3 amazing daughters, I went through RCIA, and have had lots of fun with family and friends. We still live in Louisville but transferred our little family over to the village of St. Anthony of Padua School and Parish in 2015.

As a Catholic woman of faith, I have served in various business roles for nearly 50 years. I earned my A.S. at IUS, my B.S. at Ottawa University, and my MBA at Holy Family University in Philadelphia, PA. Born in Louisville, I was blessed to meet my husband while I was working in Lawrenceville, NJ, and now we live in Clarksville with our dog, Duchess. We enjoy traveling and are very happy to be attending and serving St Anthony Church.
